Commonly Asked Questions

What are your hours of operation?

We are available by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome, but to ensure the availability of personnel, we recommend scheduling your appointment well in advance of your visit.

When should I arrive?

We recommend showing up a few minutes early to help you catch your breath and calm your mind and body in preparation for your treatment. On your first visit, we'll have you fill out a client intake form.

What If I arrive late?

Arriving late will deprive you of valuable treatment time. To avoid delaying our next client, your treatment will end at the specified time regardless of how late you arrive, or you may also choose to reschedule.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. My time is valuable, and I have implemented this policy for a reason. when you miss an appointment, I not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.

What should I expect?

Massage: You will be asked a few basic questions about areas of pain or concentration and then left alone in the room for you to undress to your comfort level and get onto the table beneath a sheet. Only the part of the body being worked on will be uncovered, ensuring that modesty is respected at all times. You can ask for adjustments in pressure throughout the massage, and you can let the therapist know if you are hot or cold. We recommend drinking lots of water before and after your treatment.

Facials: We will discuss your skin care concerns so we can decide on a facial that fits your skin care needs. We'll have you change out of your top and wear a wrap. Then you'll have these steps performed: cleanse, exfoliating mask, facial massage, and hydrating mask. After the facial, I will suggest a few home care products to continue your skin care routine at home until your next appointment.

*We recommend waiting 12 hours before exercising after a Facial or Massage. Be Sure to drink plenty of water before and after your treatment.

Spray Tan: I will step out of the room to provide privacy while you undress. What you wear or choose not to wear is your choice. Clients have worn bathing suits, underwear, disposable spa wear or have opted for no tan lines and gone topless or have been spray tanned in the nude. During the airbrush tanning session, I will instruct you on how to position your body to allow for an even application. The session will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Why receive a facial?

Facial treatments help achieve healthy, younger looking skin by slowing down the aging process. Along with numerous skin benefits, facials also provide relief for stress, sinus congestion, and migraine headaches. Having a facial on a regular basis can lead to firmer, more radiant skin by minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, moisturizing, and releasing tension. There is no question about the effect of life, pollution, and environment on the skin. Oils and environmental buildup can cause the skin to lose some of its vivacity. Facial treatments that include exfoliation remove dead skin cells to bring more vibrant skin to the surface and prepare the skin for nutrients.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing that will help you feel relaxed as you prepare for your massage or spa treatment. We suggest long hair be pulled up out of the way and jewelry be removed for massage and spa service.

Is it okay to bring my children along?

For your own relaxation and for the benefit of our other clients and service providers, we ask that children not come along unless they are receiving treatments themselves.
